Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you travel. Airlines and immigration will refuse you with less.

The official minimum is shorter than our advice above: GOV.UK states your passport should be valid for at least 3 months from the date you enter Lebanon. We still recommend 6 months.
If your passport contains an Israeli stamp, you may be refused entry to Lebanon even if you hold a valid Lebanese visa.
Lebanese immigration checks names against a database of offenders. If your name matches an entry you could be detained unless you can produce documentation, such as a birth certificate, clarifying your identity and your parents' names.
